Evangelical Christians elected Trump and his MAGA cultist cabinet that is now gutting healthcare subsidies for over 22 million Americans, has gutted research dollars for cancer, lukemia, alzheimer’s and many other fatal and life altering, sever and chronic illnesses; proving once and for all that Christians often don’t really care about the poor and the sick like they claim they do. If they did, they wouldn’t elect leaders that repeatedly punch down on the poor and sick in this country, strip them of vital benefits they need, and ignore the very real pain and suffering they are now causing so many millions of Americans by increasing their premiums 30-50%. If they followed the true teachings of Christ, they would not behave this way and would in fact stand up and be heard argueing against these policies, but they aren’t, and we must see them for what they are; a cruel group of people that have strayed from the teachings of Jesus who healed the sick, was kind, hung out with and spoke to the poor, lifted up the downtrodden, cared for children, and taught us to be kind to and love our neighbors.
But Republican Jesus doesn’t care about the poor, the sick, the immigrants (your neighbors) among us. They don’t care about sick children with cancer and lukemia. They don’t care about anything but enriching themselves and giving the richest people in our soceity even more money. If Jesus was here today He would be flipping tables angry just like He was when He enountered people doing business in the temple. Shame on you if you call yourself a Christian and you don’t care about the health and safety of our children, or our poor, of our sick, of the immigrants among us. Shame on you! You are not Christ-like. You are in a cult. A sick and perverted cult that betrays the teachings of Jesus Christ while claiming to be of Christ.
Im already losing access to things that help me with my chronic pain, nutrition, mental health and the cuts haven’t even gone fully into effect. ME, a disabled American citizen! Not an illegal immigrant. Not a lazy person. A DISABLED CITIZEN. I’m losing over $345 every 3 months for my over the counter suppliments and healthy food. I’m losing my gym membership which has been crucial for the management of my chronic spine pain after two spine surgeries and my mental health (CPTSD/MDD/ADHD/OCD). I may be losing even more access to the care and help I need! So this lie that Republicans are pushing that only illegal immigrants will be effected is a shameful lie and they know it! They know it but they are incable of empathy or shame. They claim to be of Christ and Christian but they act nothing like the Jesus I know from the Bible.
Imagine if Jesus with His 3 loaves of bread and two fishes simply said “We can’t afford to feed these people. Tell them to get a job!” We are the richest country on Earth. We give billions in subsidies to oil and gas companies that don’t need that money and are the riches company’s on Earth and thats just to name a few industries we do this for. We could be spending our money less on bombs and missiles and on showering the already rich with even more money and instead spending that money supporting our poor, our sick, those that actually need our help but we aren’t because our country is being run by a bunch of greedy, power and money hungry Christians who are not at all Christ-like even if they claim they are.
Enough with the excuses! Enough with the blasphemy! You are either walking the walk or you aren’t. You are either following the teachings of Christ, or you aren’t! Christians who are about feeding the poor, healing the sick, being kind to their neighbors need to confront the ones who are not. You must join the rest of the world in condemning these religous fascists and the way they punch down on the poor, the sick, and immigrants. Its not Christ-like. Its Nazi like and its past time those Christians who are Christ-like do more to distinguish themselves from these Christian Nazis. Nazis punched down on the poor, the disabled, immigrants. They also called themselves Christians. If you don’t like the term “Nazi Christians” ask yourself why because from my vantage point history is repeating itself and the church isn’t doing much about it.
