Racists and religious fascists like Paris Hilton and those behind the recent Netflix series Wayward are trying to white wash and religious wash the true history of the Troubled Teen Industry, but I won’t let them get away with it. Neither should you. The truth is Paris Hilton and the Hilton family have strong ties to the Catholic Church and her grandfathers funded many Catholic and Mormon rehabs. She also got into bed with Mitt Romney and destroyed our bill of rights for kids and replaced it with a meaningless survey, one we already had in the GOA. She poison pilled our efforts to finally give kids in this country some rights and protect them from religous fascism and the abusive Troubled Teen Industry while pretending to help us.
The religious facists of this country would like nothing more than to erase hundreds of years of history of abusing children in these boarding schools and other facilities and destroy the link between them and the trauma they’ve inflicted on hundreds of thousands if not millions of children. They would like nothing more but to wash their hands of the colonizer roots of the industry and bury it so you won’t hold them responsible. If you have read my books you know the truth. You know that religious fascists have been assimilating children both indigenous and white for hundreds of years; breaking them down, robbing them of their true self and identity and imprinting their own morals and religious beliefs onto them.

Currently Netflix and the MSM have been pushing the lie that the Troubled Teen Industry started with Synnanon and cults in the 70s. This is a lie to protect racists and religious fascists and exclude many of us boarding school survivors and religous abuse survivors. It is a lie being pushed by Paris Hilton and her team who would like nothing more but for the focus to be entirely on them, the rehab model only, and Utah. The truth is there have been thousands of boarding schools, wilderness camps, boys and girls homes and rehabs not in Utah and Utah isn’t the only place survivors of the Troubled Teen Industry come from, nor is the rehab model they talk about the only type of TTI like they would have you believe. Again, this lie is being pushed to ease the conscious of racists and religious fascists.

The Troubled Teen Industry started in the UK. It started with boarding schools and boys and girls homes meant to produce leaders and politicians. It started with white people assimilating their own. It then spread to the colonies when Britain and people from the UK colonized the US, Canada, and Astraulia. The government realized it could create Indigenous Schools to assimilate stubborn Native American teens and force their White Jesus narrative and morals onto them. They realized that Catholics, Mormons and other religious fascists were willing to do the dirty work all in the name of their God so they allowed them to and hired them to do so.
There are very obvious links; the shaving of heads, dressing incarcerated teens in color coded uniforms starting with orange shirts, hard even slave labor, beatings, cutting them off from family, friends, not allowing them to speak with each other, all of which have survived from the UK boarding school and indigenous boarding school models and are now used in many of the TTI facilities around the globe. To erase this history is to erase the racist colonizer roots of the industry and give these groups a free pass to continue their abusive behavior in the name of their religions. It erases the very real pain that is felt by religious boarding school and indigenous boarding school survivors. Its not only offensive its disgusting and shameful behavior.

So to my fellow TTI survivors; stop supporting this lie that most if not all TTI facilities are in or originated from Utah and the rehab model. Stop carrying water for racist religious fascists trying to white-wash and religious wash history. Stop excluding boarding school and religous abuse survivors. Stop supporting a grifter like Paris Hilton who is only using this movement to white wash her own racist past. You are or at least should be better than that. Share the real truth about the origins of the industry because history is important and if we don’t learn from it we are doomed to repeat it.
